Terms and Conditions for Renting a Car
- Original Driving License is mandatory and must be deposited until the end of the trip. Passport is accepted for foreign nationals or NRIs.
- Employees must show Employment ID & Aadhar. Self-employed individuals must show GST registration & Aadhar.
- Gogo Cars reserves the right to cancel a booking without refund if the renter is drunk or under the influence during pickup.
- Alcohol, tobacco, or weed is prohibited inside the vehicle. Rs. 2500/- penalty for violations.
- No animals or commercial goods allowed in the vehicle.
- Cars must not be used for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Renter is responsible for inspecting the vehicle's condition before pickup using photos/videos. Damages found upon return will be charged.
- Self-pickup renters must adhere to booked timings. Delays will not be adjusted in charges.
- Doorstep delivery depends on driver availability and traffic. Trip time starts at delivery time.
- In case of a breakdown, do not touch the car. Contact the Gogo Cars team for guidance.
- Renter must return the car on time. To extend, notify us at least 4 hours before trip end. Late return penalties apply based on car type:

- Repairs must be done only at authorized service centers. Rs. 10,000/- penalty for local repair shops.
- Interior must be clean on return. Rs. 1000/- penalty for stains, foul odor, or vomit.
- Full trip payment is required before pickup. No refund for early drop-off.
- No compensation for extra fuel or FastTag balance left in the vehicle.
- Renter must collect all required papers. Any fines due to missing papers are customer’s responsibility.
- Traffic fines during or after the trip are the renter's responsibility.
- Speed limit: 80–110 km/h. Rs. 500 penalty for exceeding 120 km/h.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Missing or unsatisfactory ID proofs at pickup = last-minute cancellation = no refund.
- If drunk at pickup = booking cancelled = no refund.
- Booking date changes must be requested at least 48 hours before; 20% reschedule fee applies.
- Cancellations within 48 hours = 30% fee. No refund if within 48 hours of pickup.
- No changes or refund allowed within 24 hours of pickup.
INSURANCE POLICY
- Damage below Rs. 25,000/- = full amount borne by renter.
- Damage above Rs. 25,000/- = Rs. 25,000 depreciation + difference from insurance + daily charges till repair completion.
- No insurance if damage due to traffic violations, rash driving, drunk driving, or < 1 year driving experience in hills.
- Renter must bear towing charges and handle legal/police formalities until the car reaches the showroom.
- Off-roading is prohibited. Damages due to off-roading = full damage cost by renter.
- If Basic Protection Plan is taken, renter pays Rs. 20,000. If Premium Plan is taken, pays Rs. 10,000. FIR and driving license needed for insurance claim. Renter must cooperate till insurance is processed.
